The Growing Gateway Eco District will be having a kickoff party for Re-Energizing Gateway Phase I.
With the help of a grant received from the East Portland Action Plan the Phase I party will be:

Where: IRCO, 10301 N.E. Eugene
Phase I is about helping our community of low income and senior home owners receive an energy audit and weatherization to save money and keep you safe and warm!
Phases I, II and III will also include all of our districts businesses.

This was a fantastic event – I really enjoyed learning more in depth about the entire program. What was most incredible was hearing the true synergy between the various organizations that are all putting their time and energy into making the Gateway area a truly better place for everyone, particularly in regards to sustainability & environmental impact while improving economic activity.
